I have worked in the field of nutrition, personal development, and counseling since 1989. I started as a Nutritional Consultant at WIC in Missoula, MT. I went on to create programs of rehabilitation for children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. I then worked as a counselor in the Rader Institute in Auburn, WA helping patients resolve eating disorders. In 1993 I opened a private practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Renton, WA. Through my research and practice I went on to developed methods for resolving generational trauma, chronic illness, eating disorders and physical injuries. I have given many talks on mental health, eating disorders, marriage enrichment, nutrition and raw food preparation through-out the Seattle area as well as teaching Yi Ren Qigong at Bastyr University.
My ability to facilitate well-being grew from over 51 years of personal work, 41 years of research/training/work in food-based wellness, 37 years of one-on-one work with many clients of diverse ages and backgrounds, my development of psychological/energetic healing modalities and trainings in many different forms of therapy and healing.
My mission is to bring seasoned skill, wisdom, and gentle facilitation to each person's inherent capacity to renew and uncover optimal physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
I view life's challenges and presenting concerns as opportunities to access the best version of oneself. Through a compassionate and reflective process, I help clients reconnect with their inner wisdom, trusting that the resources needed for healing, growth, and transformation already exist within them.
I regard healing as a journey of spiritual development. One of the greatest gifts is the trust clients place in me. I am dedicated to working with reverence, respect, and gentleness, ensuring that each client remains empowered and in control of the process I am privileged to facilitate.
My deepest wish is to support the emergence of joyful, purposeful, and vital human beings who consciously contribute to a world community founded on peace, meaningful connection, and collaboration.
