How to Apply for Your Retreat

Laurel is available to compliment your Montana retreat with all the forms of therapy listed on the Conscious Completion website. With your retreat you also have access to daily sessions using the NanoVi®. To apply, send an email outlining what therapies you are interested in and when you want to book. Alameda Retreat in Hot Springs Montana

This wellness retreat is held at Alameda.  Some of the rooms have water from the hot spring coming into your tub for your private soaking needs.   Please see their website for information on booking, their facility and the wisdom they share about the hot springs.


There is Camas Organic Market for meals or groceries or you can do a juice fast with Rainbow  Zen Organic Juice Bar.

Montana has some of the best hot springs in the world spread through-out the state.  Take your pick from some of these...click here.  We recommend Quinn or Boulder hot springs. If you want to camp Big Medicine is an option.  Still Waters Mineral Springs and RV Court has a variety of options.

Flathead Lake Polson, MT

Polson has one of the cleanest lakes in the world.  There are many options for play!  See the beautiful Polson Bay Golf Course movie and other treats on our "About Polson Montana" page.  Below are pages of other options for your relaxing retreat or adventure retreat coupled with relaxation!  


Our place is 5 miles east from the Polson Golf course, on Flathead lake, at the foot of the mountain range you see in the movie.  There is camping and hiking right above our property as well as two miles away on Finely Point.  

Symes Hot Springs

 This relaxed 1930s Mission-style hotel known for its hot springs is a block from Hot Springs Creek and 0.3 miles from the Hot Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center. The homey, individually decorated rooms have private or shared bathrooms; some include cable TV. There's also a suite with a whirlpool tub, as well as cabins and apartments, some with kitchens.


Guests have free access to the hotel's 3 mineral water pools, and there's a day spa offering massage and other body treatments for an additional fee. 

Ski and Retreat

Whitefish, MT is known for it's awesome Big Mountain Ski Area and 2018 HGTV Dream Home. This resort also has a list of summer activities.  There are also great options listed below for other ski areas close to Polson, MT.

Polson is the largest town on Flathead Lake.  It is located at the south end of Flathead Lake on the Flathead Indian Reservation. This lakeside community is the trading center for one of Montana’s most fertile farming areas. In a prime cherry growing region and home to numerous cherry orchards, Polson celebrates with an annual Cherry Festival every summer.  There is also the Flathead Lake Blues Festival and a 114 year-old  Pow Wow at Arlee.

In the fall the the leaves change colors making for beautiful cool hikes.  In the winter you can curl up with hot cocoa and enjoy the view of the beautiful snow covered lake, trees and mountains.  It is a great place to decompress while skiing, sledding, ice fishing, ice skating, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing. Kids enjoy making snow forts and snow people.  Skiing is only 21 miles away,   In the spring, usually March 16, the trumpeter swans arrive to the lake providing a very magical view of nature.

Soak up the sunsets and breathe in fresh air while being surrounded by nature.  This area is blessed by the Salish/Kootenai tribes.  Moving gently through a day of your retreat you may want to take in the moving frescoes at St. Ignatius Mission. The stunning Mission Mountain Wilderness has dozens of lakes and offers great day hikes to meditate with and get energized by. The Garden of Ten Thousand Buddhas, 50 miles south of Polson, offers peace and inspiration for the spiritual traveler.

Deepen Your Healing Process

We are located minutes from golfing at Polson Bay Golf Club, 406-883-8230. The largest course in the area; "Old Course" is a challenging 9 hole course.  Mature course surrounded by huge pine trees. "Championship 18 Hole" championship length.  Open, long and fast -- the only course directly on the shore of Flathead Lake.  It is 1/4 mile from your rental home! Two other courses are within 20 minutes drive. Nine more courses are between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours drive. All totaled, there are 216 holes of beautiful, challenging golf in the area.  See video below.

5 miles away is downtown Polson. There is a new indoor swimming pool great for winter retreats and a brand new fitness center.  There is also a live outdoor theater, cinema and many great restaurants, art galleries, book stores, gift shops, excellent health food store, yoga classes, a 2-screen movie theater, Aviation Tours, museums, and several city lake parks.

 The broad, sweeping Mission Valley south of Polson is bordered by the rugged, snow-capped Mission Mountains. The Flathead River that flows from Polson features whitewater rafting and Kerr Dam. The National Bison Range at Moiese with its large herds of bison, elk, deer, antelope and barn sheep is nearby, as well as the Ninepipes and Pablo Wildlife Refuges for bird watchers.  Pablo Reservoir National Wildlife Area (15 minutes away), provides refuge to upland birds and roughly 80,000 ducks.  One-half hour south, Ninepipe National Wildlife Area offers still more great habitat and hunting.

  • Banana Tube Rides and Flyboarding -- Riverside Recreation, 412 2nd Street W, Polson, (406) 883-2300.  Recreation equipment rentals also includes Sea Kayak rental, stand up paddle boards, personal water craft, ski boats, pontoon boats, etc.
  • Cross Country Skiing - right out your front door!
  • Cycling -- There is a designated bike trail past the Walmart/Safeway shopping center. A hundred yards north, the old railroad bed has been converted into a 15-mile non-motorized walk/bike path.  Several nice biking loops using this path and the country roads south of town are available. 
  • Fishing events 
  • Freshwater Fishing -- The Jocko River offers excellent catch-and-release trout fishing. Kerr Dam spillway provides oxygen rich water for a variety of species from trout to bass and pike. Flathead Lake is a well-known lake trout fishery with an unlimited catch limit during Mack Days when anglers can win prize money of up to $5,000 for tagged fish.   The Flathead River and several mountain lakes offer still more fishing opportunities.

  • Good Food Store -- One of the best health food stores in the nation -- worth visiting!
  • Kerr Dam -- 5.1 miles southwest of Polson on Kerr Dam Road; (406) 883-4450.  Kerr Dam is a three-unit hydroelectric plant on the Flathead River, the natural outlet of Flathead Lake. The units have a total generating capacity of 196 megawatts.

  • Museum -- The Miracle of America -- (406) 883-6804.  Montana's largest and most diversified museum.
